Swedish chemist, engineer, inventor, businessman, and philanthropist Alfred Bernhard Nobel. Though he had 355 patents during his lifetime, he is best remembered for having left his riches to create the Nobel Prize, in addition to making other significant scientific achievements. In the month of October 1833, on the 21st, Nobel was born. It is known that Italy’s Sanremo is where he was born.
